Another Mark Millar Comic Set to be Adapted to Film

Twentieth Century Fox has gained the right to produce a film adaption of Mark Millar’s comic Superior. Matthew Vaughn is set to produce and has held the film rights for the comic since 2011. Millar and Vaughn collaborated on bringing Kick-Ass to the silver screen back in 2010, which was well received by critics and the public alike.

Superior is about a 12 year old boy, Simon Pooni, who’s diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, but granted superhuman abilities through a magic wish. Pooni takes on the role of the superhero Superior, who has powers similar to Superman. There’s also some obvious similarity to the Shazam/Billy Batson character.

Finding a writer for the project is the next step so we’re probably a ways off from actually seeing the film. Source links below
