[Original Story] The upcoming Fox drama about a young Jim Gordon in the fictional DC Gotham city has received a series order. Receiving a series order so quickly after initial shoots would indicate executives at Fox are confident in the new show, and that it will find an audience.
Gotham stars Ben McKenzie (O.C., Southland) as a young Jim Gordon, Donal Logue as detective Harvey Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma aka The Riddler, Camren Bicondova as a young Selina Kyle aka Catwoman, and David Mazouz as a young Bruce Wayne.
