NBC orders Constantine Pilot

The John Constantine TV show, created by David Goyer, co-writer of The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel, is moving to the pilot stage, and is one step closer to becoming a thing. NBC has ordered the pilot for the series, expressing interest in having it in their schedule (in these days, why wouldn’t they?). The pilot will be co-written by David Goyer and The Mentalist’s Daniel Cerone, it will then be presented to NBC, who might chose to order it to series.

Constantine, created by Alan Moore and Steve Bissete, deals with the supernatural side of DC, and smokes. His comic, “Hellblazer” is one of the most successful Vertigo books, running over 300 issues.

There is no official date on Constantine’s premiere, if it happens.
