This October, DC will be relaunching Deathstroke in an all new solo book! After having his book cancelled back in 2013, everybody’s favorite (?) mercenary will once again be headlining his own series! The upcoming series will be written and drawn by one Tony S. Daniel. You may have heard of him, if you checked out some lesser known books like Detective Comics and Superman/Wonder Woman.
The official press release had this to say of the new book, the latest in a string of announcements from DC:
See Deathstroke as never before in this exciting new series, with one surprise after another as we see Slade Wilson in the fight of his life! He is, without question, the world’s greatest assassin and one of the most feared people on the planet—he’s been a mercenary-for-hire after his involvement in Team 7, has been recruited onto Task Force X, a.k.a The Suicide Squad—now we’ll get to know more about the complex man behind the missions.
In addition, DC collectibles will be debuting a new Deathstroke figure, designed by none other than Jim Lee!
