Pros
- AMAZING comfort, once I put them on it felt extremely comfortable.
- RGB customization is a nice ability to personalize the headset to your personal preference and retains that setting when using it across different platforms.
- The mic is the best one I’ve used on a headset so far, it’s crisp and sounds more like a professional one than I expected.
- Insanely fast charging vis USB-C.
- Super lightweight, it’s insane how light it is being a wireless headset.
Cons
- Audio levels take a significant drop off when using on something other than PC (tested with PS4 and PS5).
- Lack of Bluetooth hurts when other headsets at the same price range have it.
- Limited color settings (Color Wave was the only one available when I was testing).
In Summary
I loved my time using the ROCCAT Syn Pro Air. They were insanely comfortable, gave great audio quality and noise isolation when using it on PC, and the mic was amazing. However, with the price of the headset being 150$ at the time of this post its hard to pick them over headsets like the Turtle Beach Stealth 700s which have more features and perform better across different platforms. If you’re solely a PC gamer I would recommend these easily, but if you’re a multi platform gamer like myself I would say wait and see if future firmware updates correct the audio performance on consoles before you make your purchase.
