Today, the developers behind upcoming MMORPG Saga of Lucimia revealed their first glimpse into the world of the game with their first video which shows off some early previews of one of the starter zones and starter dungeon which can be seen below.
Here is the full post from their Facebook page:
[quote]A closer look at one of the starter zones + entry area of the starter dungeon from our initial prototype that we’ve been building since March of 2014 for the Saga of Lucimia MMORPG.
We have seven zones + three dungeons levels completed to-date. The “tester” zone where we will be working on coding and testing is being built now, and then we move into coding for the rest of 2014 and throughout 2015, which is when we’ll be coding + adding buildings + polish + mechanics + NPCs + quests + UI and all the other components that make a living, breathing MMORPG.
Bear in mind that these videos are captures from within the Unity game engine. They are *not* polished, they are not optimized, and they are not anywhere close to what the final product will look like.
This is merely a proof-of-progress video to show you guys and girls where we’ve come since March and give you a taste of what you’ll see in the months ahead.
We are also still only using the free version of Unity; we will be updating to the Pro version in 2015 as we move into actual production of more than just the initial drafts, which is what we’ve been doing while learning the Unityengine.
