Details on the next game in the long-running Battlefield franchise were leaked earlier today; and now EA has officially announced the game. Coming in Fall 2014 Battlefield: Hardline is being developed by Visceral Games, the studio behind the Deadspace franchise. It has long been rumored that a Battlefield game concentrating on police forces instead of the military was in development. With images of a SWAT vehicle, bank robbers, and cash, adorning the image released by EA those rumors appear to be accurate.
