Quick Time Review: Glitch Busters

IN SUMMARY:

The internet is being overrun by trolls and glitches! It’s up to you and your squad to get rid of them and save the users. Glitch Busters is a fairly cute, fast paced 3rd person co-op shooter. It can be played with your friends, or as a single player with replica units. For story mode, the AI on the replica units is serviceable, but not so much in the patrol mode or custom mode. The story is simple, but decent for this type of game. There’s a lot of meta humor which some will like but is bound to make some people groan. You earn likes in each level which can then be used on a crazy amount of customizable options, both useful and cosmetic. The biggest downside was that the one character who acts as an advisor can at times talk way too much when you just want to get going. Also, sometimes the camera may be odd. Tutorials are sprinkled throughout as you encounter each new thing. Though it’s not a cakewalk, the game is mostly fun and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Younger audiences, especially, will probably get a kick out of it.
